Hey guys my name is Michael. About 2 years ago I was ever so kindly given male genital herpies by my cheating girlfriend :) Thanks, Hayley. When I found out I had male genital herpies, I broke up with my girlfriend and setup this genital herpies website for people who think they may have genital herpies.

Male Genital Herpies - Do I have male genital herpies?

Well if you haven’t been able to keep it to yourself lately there is a slight possibility you could have male genital herpies.

If you really do believe you are suffering from male genital herpes, the first thing you obviously should do is speak with your doctor because you might not have male genital herpies you might just have a rash or Aids. Aids? Why would I have aids, your probably asking yourself, well I am trying to keep this on a lighter note as male genital herpies is not something you need to worry about but aids is. Don’t worry though; you probably haven’t got aids either I am just trying to freak you out. Did it work? :)

After you have spoken with your doctor and it has come back that you have male genital herpies then you should at all costs avoid any sexual relations with your partner until it has cleared up, which can usually take up to 6 weeks depending upon how quickly your body heels.

You should probably already know that male genital herpes is transmitted sexually and if you don’t you need to have that “sex” talk with your parents and ask them about it, you never know they may have genital herpies as well. Whether its oral, anal or passionate vaginal sex, there are high chances that you will infect your partner, so you need to try and avoid sex at all times when you have a genital herpies outbreak.

Male genital herpes symptoms usually include sores and blisters on the genital area, and pain usually when taking a piss. Some men also experience further symptoms of fever or a flu-like feeling, a burning pain, muscle aches, back pain, and headaches. Some men also find that they have swollen glands as well as a pressure in the abdomen and sometimes discharge from the penis which isn’t nice because I had it and I thought it was horrible to be honest.

There is no cure “as such” for male genital herpes, although there is medication and self help guides which really do help. I personally found the self-help guides very informative and they helped me overcome the stress and depression I was getting into due to the male genital herpies outbreaks.
